Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a career in music?
Do you want to know what it takes to turn this dream into a reality?
Well then, you won't want to miss this opportunity to join a select number of teachers and students from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) who will be travelling down to Albany to inspire local students and those interested in the creative fields.
Staff from the Contemporary Music Department at WAAPA, Matt Allen, Allira Wilson and Ric Eastman, will discuss the tangible ways to cultivate a creative career in the music industry, and talk about the music and performance industries. Following the presentation, the floor will be opened for a Q&A with the staff.
By attending, you will learn the strategies on how to build a career in music, outline pathways to get into various creative fields, build connections, and have the chance to network with a local community of likeminded individuals with professional industry experience.
