Foundations of Hospitality- Workforce Readiness Series

Come and join 5-star trained and experienced hospitality personality Rebecca Brennan from the Sugar Florist as she takes you through the fundamentals of working in a restaurant or cafe setting. 

You'll be introduced to the world of hospitality including;

· Introduction to Hospitality 

· Understanding what your employer Expects of you 

· Understanding your role in the business and the impact you have

· Understanding your learning style 

· How to ask for help from a trainer 

· Understanding the importance of high standards in workplace (Including personal presentation) 

· Greeting and Seating Guests 

· Learning and practicing various meet and greet styles depending on the type of business 

· Phone Etiquette 

· Interacting with Guests (Fundamentals) 

· Appropriate conversations with customers 

· How to anticipate their needs to encourage them to return 

· Understanding the Menu and Importance of product knowledge 

· How to Upsell 

· Serving Guests 

· What to do if a guest is waiting too long 

· How to communicate with customers when things are not going well 

· How to fix an angry customer’s experience

This three hour after-school interactive course will include light refreshments and is conveniently located in the centre of the City to accommodate those still in education who are in or are wanting to work in hospitality.  

Course price is $15per person + GST + Booking Fee.
