Albany 2026

In 2026, Albany will host Western Australia’s first bicentenary. This once-in-a-lifetime milestone event will welcome visitors from across WA, Australia, and the world. They will come to hear Albany’s story, immerse themselves in our culture, and experience the best of our tourism, hospitality, and retail offerings.

Now is the time to get ready to showcase Albany at its very best. Join us in preparing for Albany 2026 and putting Albany on the map like never before.

What’s On

Working with organisations and the local community, the City of Albany will present a yearlong program of events and activities throughout 2026. Featuring several ‘Major Events’, the program is designed to recognise and celebrate diverse cultures, engage community members, attract visitors, and provide significant economic and social benefits.

How to Prepare

Plan For Success: Identify the opportunities 2026 brings for your business, create a strategy, and take action.

Stay Connected: Growth and change can be challenging—tap into support networks like fellow business owners, mentors, and local service providers.

Leverage ACCI: The Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry offers networking, advocacy, and business support to help you grow, build connections, and make your voice heard. Let them work for you while you focus on your business.
