ACCI Great Southern International Women’s Day Celebration
Join us for an International Women's Day Celebration on Friday 8 March. This globally recognised day honours the remarkable achievements of women across social, economic, cultural, and political spheres. Under the themes ‘Count her in’ and ‘Inspire Inclusion’, we aim to celebrate the contributions of GREAT Southern Women in our business community.
The event will feature captivating presentations and panel discussions led by influential female business leaders from around Australia.
Key speakers include:
Natasha Short, founder of Kimberley Jiyigas, is our keynote speaker, promising insights and inspiration. Natasha has spent the past 25 years working within community development, focusing on social improvements for Indigenous people. Much of Natasha’s work has been around mentoring, leadership development, organising and speaking at women’s events.
Sally Carbon was a sporty kid, who ended up playing hockey for Australia at two World Cups and two Olympic Games. She's now a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and sits on a range of boards. She runs her own business strategy company, G11, where she mentors many who are transitioning from sport. Sally unapologetically assists leading edge international, national, government and private leaders how to strategically organise themselves for growth.
Other guest speakers:
Expect engaging networking and workshop activities, fostering an empowering environment for dialogue and collaboration among attendees. As a part of our event schedule, there will be activities where we can learn from each other. When purchasing your ticket, you will be asked if you would like to be a Mentor or a Mentee. A Mentor is someone who is prepared to share their experience and knowledge of business with others, and a Mentee is someone who is at the stage of their business where they are ready to learn from others.
Join us in celebrating the achievements of our GREAT Southern business women and partner with us in this event!
